01 / HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. No conversion maze.

Audexi keeps the workflow on one screen. Add your files, choose the output you want, and convert. Advanced controls are there when you need them—not in your way when you don't.

STEP 1
Drop files anywhere

Drop in your audio

Drag files anywhere into Audexi or use Browse. Add one track or build a batch from multiple folders. Duplicate paths are ignored automatically.

STEP 2
OGG WAV MP3 FLAC

Choose the output

Select OGG, WAV, MP3, or FLAC for the batch. Open Audio Settings only when you want to change bitrate, quality, sample rate, compression, or channels.

STEP 3
idle converting ✓ saved

Convert and move on

Audexi processes the batch in the background while the interface stays responsive. Each row updates as it starts, saves, or fails.

One bad file doesn't stop the rest of the batch.
02 / BATCH CONVERSION

Convert the folder, not just the file.

Drop in multiple audio files and process them together with one output format and one set of conversion settings. Audexi handles each file independently, so a failed track won't take down the rest of the batch.

Live row-level status shows what is waiting, what is running, what was saved, and what needs attention. Re-run the batch and Audexi skips files already marked as saved.

surround_mix.wav — unsupported channel layout (5.1). Other files continue.
03 / AUDIO SETTINGS

The controls that matter. Nothing you don't need.

Each output format gets settings that make sense for that format. Audexi avoids one giant panel of irrelevant encoder options.

{{ fmtDesc }}

{{ fmtMeta }}
OGG — Vorbis VBR quality: 0.50
Higher = better quality and larger files. Default ≈ 0.50.
MP3 — Bitrate
128 192 256 320 kbps
Constant bitrate from 96 to 320 kbps. Higher = better quality, larger files.
WAV — Sample rate
Original (source) 44.1 kHz 48.0 kHz
Clean 16-bit PCM. "Original" keeps the source rate.
FLAC — Compression effort
Fast Standard Best
FLAC is lossless at every setting — this only trades encoding time for file size.
Convert to mono — downmix stereo or multichannel material into one true mono channel.
SETTINGS APPLY ACROSS THE BATCH
04 / LOCAL BY DESIGN

Your audio doesn't need a round trip through somebody else's server.

Audexi converts files on your computer. There is no required account, no upload queue, and no browser tab waiting for a server to return your own audio.

AUDIO NEVER LEAVES YOUR MACHINE — THE ONLY NETWORK CALL IS THE LICENCE CHECK
No cloud conversion
Audio processing happens locally.
No account required
Open the app and use it.
No runtime dependencies
A single self-contained executable.

05 / BEFORE YOU CONVERT

Listen first. Convert second.

Every file row includes source-audio preview, so you can check what you're about to process without opening another player. Play, pause, resume, and move between files directly in the batch list.

Each row also shows the file name, size, detected source format, conversion status, and a remove control. Clear the whole list when the job is finished without touching the files on disk.

06 / OUTPUT CONTROL

Put every result where it belongs.

Save converted files next to their sources or send the entire batch to a custom folder. Audexi can also add useful information to output filenames automatically — with a live filename example shown before you convert.

Same location — each converted file stays beside its own source.
Custom folder — send the entire batch to one destination.
Filename tags — timestamp, quality, bitrate, or sample rate.

07 / DESKTOP NATIVE

One small tool. GUI when you want it. CLI when you don't.

Audexi installs from a standard MSI package on Windows and a signed, notarized disk image on macOS. For scripted jobs, the same conversion engine is available from the command line.

08 / MADE TO LIVE ON YOUR DESKTOP

A utility doesn't have to look utilitarian.

Audexi uses a compact frameless interface with its own window chrome and three complete themes. Switch between Dark, Light, and Purple instantly — including controls, menus, sliders, and icons.
